EvaI've been on Mastodon for about a month. I'm following about 15% as many people as I did on Twitter and I have just a little under 10% of the numbers of followers than I did on Twitter, but engagement here is about the same and the replies are much less likely to be spammy, abusive, and/or deranged.
Regularly feeling conflicted about fixing spelling mistakes when reviewing another party's legal documents... "Fix them, why would you not fix things that are wrong?" "Don't be pedantic, you'll just infuriate the other party for no benefit"

If your mastodon is under 30 characters, you can put it in "location" on your twitter profile, and L Ron Musk's bots won't spot it.

Jordan MartinSo I understand that the bird site has started blocking links to common/known Mastodon instances, and that doesn't seem like free speech to me. So... I did a thing.
If you go to https://spacekaren.sucks it is now a URL shortener that blocks the twitter user agent. That means you can share that link that will redirect to your Mastodon account without the pouty baby stopping you.
