I am interested in many topics including literature and arts. In particular, I would like to read and contribute to threads related to fitness for older adults, helping older adults through exercise, balance training for fall prevention, hypnosis, meditation, and cognitive exercise. I am pursuing my business dream to coach and train older adults in these areas because I find it rewarding and would enjoy earning a living at it.

@kimlockhartga I was trying today to recall the entry you wrote a while back about age sweeping one in the currents of time or something like that, when referring to the string of medical appointments one must keep. I am grateful to have finally learned never to rely upon the system; to have realized, after decades of witnessing workers in that system fail to uphold the values entrusted to them by their jobs each time it required effort, that the system really doesn't care much about my loved ones or me. I know there are moral people among our societal safeguards, but seldom found among those to whom my situation offered an opportunity to protect the safety and welfare of the supplicating individual.

Don't order from PESI. They repackage seminars and webinars without any editing for content- very sloppy and lazy. Their prices are exorbitant for what you get, and they always have an absurd price crossed out and say eighty percent off, an old trick when the "sale" price is already high. They have a "satisfaction guarantee" that they do not honor. Customer service is rude if you can get a hold of them. Unethical business.
Has the wellness industry's marketing of the primacy self-care resulted in a generation of self-absorbed? Has it weakened the impressionable of any perspective empathy or sense of communal good? For example, I have noticed so many door-dash people standing around my building and helped them get in, because the orderer couldn't be bothered to come down or even provide an access code to receive their precious oatmilk matcha latte with probiotic mushroom immune boost or whatever.
