change.org is vile, avoid them if at all possible. They emotionally blackmail you into donating money, suggesting it helps the petition's cause, but they pocket it all for themselves.

Looks like the "Verify your fedi account" scam is gaining pace, & evolving to look more real.

Your server admin will not ask you to click a link to verify your account. And no other admin from any other server will either, even if they do look like they could be part of the main Mastodon team. It's a scam.

Please report any post or DM that urges you to click any link to verify your account.

If you've any doubts about your account, now or on any other day, contact your server admin or mod team.

here's a nice nerd snipe: find a cyclical space-filling curve through all 20 vertices of this corner slice of a 4x4x4 cube that isn't self-crossing under this projection and has good neighbor proximity. i found two acceptable ones.
@lritter mmh I covered more intersections than necessary :3

I Failed to Call It a Day and I'm Actually Getting Shit Done at Work: A Tragedy
@neurovagrant any non in ear headphones for side sleepers? My ears get itchy of I wear in ears and mostly o just loose them since I remove them during sleep and they fall out of the bed

@lritter hmm I saw projects done by two or even one underpaid developer become a financial backbone of an entire company.

I also consulted projects with at least 20 or more developers involved just building up technical debt without any benefits.

I am not sure getting rid of managers alone will solve the problem.

if anybody knows anybody at the UN Umoja (the UN's shared services), get them to patch these boxes for CitrixBleed2 and reset all sessions (including AAA) - there's somebody from Chinese state logged into them going brrr for the past three weeks.
If anybody thinks 'Kevin cannot be serious with these posts', they're extraordinarily effective at getting stuff patched as usually somebody knows somebody.

Thank you to those who did outreach, UN Umoja shared services are now patched for CitrixBleed 2.

Next problem - 157.150.185.89,*.un.org and 157.150.185.135,*.dev.un.org are both still vulnerable. Could people with contacts do outreach too?

These are also getting attacked as I type. They're on EOL equipment.

@GossiTheDog my wife works for the UN, just sent her this 😅
@peter @GossiTheDog White-hatting is always fraught. Posting on infosec.exchange seems as good as any method.

@GossiTheDog When you post I use it to get shit done in my place.

Thanks!

@GossiTheDog Wait you're serious about all this?? /s
DKIM verification failures - Microsoft 365 / Exchange Online

We’ve opened a case with Microsoft and although it has been “escalated” to engineers, I’m curious if there’s examples of evidence that works. We sent screenshots of dmarcian and message headers illustrating the issue, but MS has been really quiet acknowledging the issue from our supplied evidence. Or key phrases to use with MS Support? I was informed they are not able to see this forum post because all external links are blocked from the support agent we received.

@GossiTheDog but are people really thinking that this couldn't work?
@GossiTheDog today we are all Kevin bacon.
@GossiTheDog passed the message to someone who works at the UN
@GossiTheDog I think it's also just important that everyone knows stuff like this is happening

@GossiTheDog
Darn. Timing... The UN ITU "AI for Good" summit just ended earlier today.

(and no, it wasn't as bad as it may sound from the title)

@GossiTheDog `cat | grep` oh no Kevin, please 😢
@GossiTheDog just distributed to all peeps where I know they have some sort of UN affiliation
