Artist for 26+ years who can recreate any style of art. I want to be one of the greatest game designers and storytellers of all time, creating odd and incredible interactive stories.

Was a game designer, background artist, animator, and developer at Screen 7 for 3+ years.

Making an adventure game named A Night at Camp Ravenwood.

Happy Halloween from Zárate, even though it's passed!

The Mastodon page has had an overhaul. I stayed off of social media to focus on dev, but because of Unity's policies on devs having to pay for the amount of times their game is downloaded, I've had to restart dev.

The game was being made with Adventure Creator and now it's moving to a new engine.

Here's a look at one of the main characters of the game: Bella Castaneda.

Anyway, back to dev for me.

Muchas gracias to all of you for the Game of the Year for my spousey Megan and I!

(Please be respectful to the team. I made this for fun and I love Return to Monkey Island's art style!)

Made with markers, as a sequel poster for Return to Monkey Island that's intended as a third poster after the posters for The Secret of Monkey Island and Monkey Island 2: LeChuck's Revenge. I even gave the monkey from the Secret poster his banana!

P.S. The big skull in the middle is Murray. I hid a Lucasarts logo between LeChuck and Murray.

Speaking of #signalis

An eye has been burned into our television set. Silently watching. Silently judging my ammo consumption rates.

I showed Megan #2001 for the first time, and I want to create an interactive experience like that that is very much an #AdventureGame and not a movie.

(SPOILERS)

2001 still has yet to be beaten in film at:

Realistic #sciencefiction
Predictive science fiction
Terror of being stranded in space
Cosmic horror
The unknowable about alien intelligence
#AI and what it means to be an AI
The unknowable about artificial intelligence
What it means to die as an AI
Experiencing eternity and beyond, and non-linear time

I'd like people to experience these things in a video game.

Haha, programmer jokes.

This reminds me of Thimbleweed Park. Designing adventure games well is REALLY hard + this one is very well-designed so far, though it's not difficult. How it uses 2D + 3D, not to mention camera work, is worth looking at for future adventure games. I love #ReturnToMonkeyIsland + this is managing to outshine it at times while years older. I was studying one of the early environments to figure out how they managed to create such good looking "2D" backgrounds w/ changing perspective as you walk through them. I think it looks better than #BrokenAge in motion.

They used billboards + then rotated some toward the horizon + built 3D pieces out of flat ones, with other elements being only flat. They built environments out of tiles + reused art assets, but it looks great. I do like Return's background art more. I think backgrounds that are like Return plus the 2D + 3D mix here can be done, still made up of less recurring parts but cleverly used unique billboards.
