So sad to see Cav finish like that, but I feel like he went out with honour. 6th, 4th and 2nd places (and arguably should've won yesterday if Philipsen had been relegated, though he wouldn't have wanted it like that).

He still had the speed for sure, it just wasn't to be. At least he got that Giro stage in Rome - not a bad final win by any means.
