The key question from the tour de suisse time trial is whether tadet pogacar will catch Matthew van Der poel on the 26 minute route even though Matthew van Der pole started 1 hour earlier

Crazy that every #procycling ineos rider that they let go seems to get better..
Yates, Narvaez..
Race thread: 🇨🇭 Tour of Switzerland (M&W) 2026, June 17–21
if you enjoy #bikeracing on TV this may well be one of the busiest weeks of the year
https://www.wielerflits.nl/nieuws/wielrennen-op-tv/
Interesting to see how #TourdeSuisse 🇨🇭 for both male and female athletes develops riding the same roads on the same day in mostly local circuits around a city/town
Reusser, Longo-borghini and Niewadoma; Tadej & guest stars
such a hard day for Anna van der Breggen 🇳🇱 #girodonne26 (again!)
two GT lost in the final stage just in a few weeks would be hard to mentally manage for a young(er) or unexperienced rider, I hope she focuses on the positives and realizes that she's back to the top tier.
Congrats to Demi Vollering 🇳🇱 for the overall victory, and Elisa Longo-Borghini 🇮🇹 for a deserved a beautiful win in the last stage
Look, Isabella Holmgren 🇨🇦 performance was a surprise to me (yes, she's a talent, but she rided alongside the strongest riders of the peloton consistently)
Race thread: 🇫🇷 Critérium du Dauphiné 2026, June 7–14
This WT stage race goes from Sunday to Sunday, and there will be climbs everyday, even on the TTT which will therefore be exceptionally difficult. Unfortunately, this is yet another race which was ‘bought’ by the local elected officials, who changed its name to promote their fiefdom, and ⅓ of the Dauphiné will never be visited any more, as it belongs to a different administration. Riders No Pogatchar, no Vingegaard; this leaves the door open for the next level of favourites: the UAE duo Almeida🇵🇹/Del Toro🇲🇽 and Ze Elect (🇫🇷 Decathlon). Skjelmose (🇩🇰 Lidl-Trek) and Jorgenson (🇺🇸 Visma) will be the main outsiders. Watching #ProCycling in Flanders today:
giro d'Italia Uomo:
1: VPN into NZL
2: find the live feed on YouTube
3: make sure the army of ad blockers and Pihole is working
Giro d'Italia Donne:
1: watch Sporza
In Flanders there might be more eyeballs on women's racing than on men's racing today. That would be a first (I think). The only downside is that I really like Ned Boulting and Jacopo Guarnieri as a commentator duo on the men's side and that it's a boring sprintstage in the women's side.
