Today's shot comes from a magical day in the Scottish #Highlands, a few years ago, when I was photographing red squirrels.
These charming characters are incredibly agile and can jump great distances between trees.
Here I managed to capture one as it appears to be flying down my lens.
My heart is broken for Colorado Springs.
LGBTQ+ people are nearly four times more likely than non-LGBTQ+ people to experience violent victimization.
And Anti-LGBTQ+ emboldens extremists to violence.
This must end. Now.
Today is #TransDayofRemembrance when we honor and remember trans lives taken by violence. How horrifying that a deadly attack upon the LGBTQ+ community in Colorado Springs should occur right before this solemn day.
Hate isn’t born in us. It is taught. It must end.
This starts with our political leaders, who must cease their cynical attacks against our community before another attack occurs.
Call out the hate. Remind them of its consequences. Hold them to account.
