@lunalapin we might have a hint ... #WikiTree provides a huge space for any data and story you would like to capture about a person, there you can also link any person's profile to any other's
@emilyjmacaulay It depends how much time you're willing to invest. One choice would be to find a genealogical society or club near where they lived, often these may maintain a library or files that you could donate to. Another would be to do some research to see if you could find and connect with current descendants and pass them along. Or locate/create them on FamilySearch's tree or #WikiTree and upload high-res scans of the materials to their entry. It might be nice to do that even if you can eventually donate them to someone else.
@AncestryRoads @EllenInEdmonton we might have an idea, where you could put your tree instead, without paying a subscription 😉
We're new here and we're posting every release of the #WikiTree #browser extensions WBE, BEE and Sourcer for #Chrome, #Firefox and #Safari. In order not to flood hashtags and the local timeline of our instance, we decided to publish most of our posts as unindexed. We're unsure if this is a smart decision or if we should take another approach, so please reach out and share your opinion.

@vae we also have an opinion on this, in case you want to share results only with family (maybe for the very recent things) and to collaborate with others ...
@Amgine @carkner we can also help, if you want to have your tree public, you're into collaboration and you value sources!
