Sorry no #LinuxOutLoud this week, I just didn't have time with my #robotics schedule. It is going to be super crazy for another 2 weeks! Our FIRST LEGO League Challenge Team won the Champions award! This means they compete again on Friday to see if North or South Idaho gets the ticket to Worlds.

The following weekend the the FIRST Tech Challenge team competes for their chance to earn a ticket to Worlds. This has me at robotics almost every day, most of the day.

We had Southern Idaho State for #FLL yesterday. It wasn't the full experience we hoped for. A large multiple day storm made them have to break the event in 3 locations. Our kids didn't get to do their presentations live in front of judges (judges are watching a recording), but at least they got to compete. I'm so greatful to the people who came together to make the event happen at all. We are still waiting to hear the outcome of judging. The kids sticker sheets went over well with the teams!

@Conan_Kudo hey I got a Fedora question for you. I got DaVinci Resolve Studio 18.6 to install and launch on Fedora 39. However the rocm opencl drivers from the repo don't seem to be working properly for me. I keep getting GPU errors. Is there a way to install the proprietary stack to make DaVinci happy? I also don't seem to be able to record from Zencaster or Riverside. As soon as I hit record it errors out. Fedora is the only one it does it to. I'm pretty sure I have all the codec installed.
