Hey everyone!

I'm working on a video to see what the Linux community (or at least people who follow me) actually use.

So, I created a little form, hosted on my Nextcloud (hopefully it's up to the task...)

It's only up for 2 days, so don't hesitate to share it around, it will help me "touch grass" and see if my preconceived notions are confirmed, or invalidated!

Of course, it's all anonymous, no personal data, it's just for the purposes of creating the video.

@itsfoss Even though we have a year to go before the end of support for Win 10, I switched to Linux Mint a few weeks ago and I haven't looked back.

My hardware doesn't meet Win 11 requirements, so I said 😋 * makes sound of a raspberry * to MS and hello to Linux.

Easy install. Command Line is not scary. Learning something new is a good thing.

EDIT: I should mention, I'm almost 66. Hey Boomer!

My friend: "of course not, buddy.. why should I ?.."

Me: "..I'm your friend and you don't allow me to read your emails, but you give consent to Meta, Facebook, Google and 1000 other unknown players to have access to your emails and all your digital life..."

My friend: "......(5 sec silence and a dumb smile)"

got told to crosspost over here to reach more people:

I don't know if and how crossposting functions in kbin/lemmy, so hopefully it'll work that way
