Just got spammed on YT as I am in Sydney, Australia (I now live in a rural area nearby) by rail ninja. They were offering a Sydney to "Newcastle" fare of $53 or $63. This is in fact a fare to Broadmeadow. Then you need to pay for a train and tram or bus to the city / beach, several dollars. The fare by commuter train is under $10, arriving at Newcastle Interchange where a tram awaits, for no extra fee on top of the under $10 outbound fare cap. The Stockton Ferry is then also free. If you want to get the XPT (InterCity 125 clone) the direct purchase fare $28 (or $38 for first class, a bit pointless). #sydney #tourism #scam #fraud #australia #travel Pls share.
