MrOtherGuyIndeed, but what I don’t get is why on earth do people spew this damn crap about manifest v3 as a whole, when the actual issue is just the removal of
“webRequestBlocking” feature that Google is about to bring along with their implementation of mv3. Why the hell aren’t folks mad about the actual issue but instead just want to be mad about the whole bloody thing, which actually also does bring some very real privacy improvements among other nice things.

Eugen RochkoMake no mistake, this is huge for Mastodon. Currently people have to choose between X, Mastodon, and Threads, and network effects play a dominant role in that choice. If we can say, you can access all the folks that went to Threads from a Mastodon account, that makes it a far more attractive option given all of its other perks 😉
I work in #technology #Sales and I have to take knowledge tests on products we sell. They always have these boxes at the bottom of the tests that ask what else you would like to know about the #products, and if it's a #computer, I like to troll them a bit. #Linux
