Watching fast show re runs has made me realise I am at an age where I would un-ironically watch Jazz Club.
Just to see if there was a reaction, I sat with Mum and watched an episode of “Doctors”. In it, an elderly parent was manipulating an adult child into looking after them, and had been for 25 years.
It washed over her completely, not even a flicker… Sadly, unlike the character, I don’t have an ex-girlfriend in LA who is going to ring me up and ask me to move over there!
Seonaidh 🏴40 years since the Miners' Strike and Thatcher's Conservative government waged war on whole communities. The effects are still with us today.
