Cybersecurity educator living in the #PNW
I'm trying to migrate from mastodon.social to tech.lgbt to spread out some of the server load and I like the moderation over there a bit more, but I'm getting this error. Any ideas? I tried my alias both with and without an @ before it. #mastodon

Why do all the Democratic candidates for office send me text messages like the worst breakup I've ever had in my life.

"I can't live without you and I need you so much! I can explain everything!"
Even despite the dumbest emails and texts sent from the DNC, I am still voting for Democrats this election, and I urge everyone else to vote the same.

My takeaways from Mastodon today.
I spent a few hours this morning following people and a this point, I feel like I have a decent feed.
I have some other accounts on some smaller servers but they are just being crushed by the demand that load times were unavailable, so I’m using this instance for now.
I used to have an alt on Twitter just to deal with trolls, but maybe I don’t need that anymore? I’ve seen a few trolls and I’m waiting to see if content moderation actually works here.
