@StevenMRogers The key with action is remembering that there are multiple drafts of the script, most specifically the one you SELL and the one you SHOOT. For the one you SELL, less is more and what you're going for is clarity and emotion. You don't have to worry about minutia at this point...just things that simply describe the action and get to emotion. Things look bad. All is lost. Thing X happens. Maybe there's hope, until... the dragon shows up. Now they're more fucked than ever.

It'd only take a handful of moderate Republicans to ward off the many crises planned by extremists in the House, from a government shutdown to a debt default to ending aid to Ukraine.

But that's the problem, as shown by the McCarthy deal ratified by the House GOP: there are zero moderate Republicans. They're all extremists. They prefer manufactured crises to stable governance.

Since Jan. 6, 2021, Fortune 500 companies — some of whom pledged to withdraw support from candidates who denied the results of the 2020 election — have given nearly $15.8 million to election deniers.
