I saw this on Twitter and I am torn because Ive seen other posts from this person and they have a very dry sense of humor, but I can absolutely understand the feelings of the people who are saying it’s not funny.

I was diagnosed with sleep apnea quite young. Everyone was surprised including me, I was in my 20s, very active, an unremarkable weight. CPAP did work but often became partially occluded and produced a hissing sound which woke me up, so I currently use an oral appliance. I still wake up more than I would like and am often tired. Sometimes I wish I could just get a voluntary tracheotomy and have done with it.
