Pretty fucked up that the people rushing to defend a plague-spreading brewery owned are organizing with a shitlib who said she feels anyone disagreeing with her orders to literally turn backs to nazis and remain peacful and called dissenters Nazis

Just absolutely fucking fantastic that there's no analysis of whether this space & event *should* be defended beyond "Nazis are attacking queers" even though the business is inherently hostile, as are the principle organizers.

Spreading COVID is as fascist as being a fucking Nazi. The current strain of American Naziism has killed far fewer people than COVID has in the past 3 years but the left *does not fucking care* to protect the disabled, to draw a hard line against businesses profiteering off of death & suffering with the thin veneer of queer allyship as their defense.

Meanwhile, kids at the event are going to be exposed to covid, again, and they've all been infected multiple times. No one has survived more than nine infections and people start dying after 5 or 6.

People are enabling the disablement and death of community members because of identity politics, all to the benefit of some petite bourgeois fucks.

All the left has to do is find out if an event or space is COVID-safe and requiring masking, testing, and vaccination. If they are, great, help them. If they aren't, demand they do so. If they won't, FUCK THEM. THEY ARE LITERALLY KILLING US. But y'all will turn out to LARP because you do not give a solitary choleric shit about us disabled. You're fine leaving us behind to die! You have been, the ENTIRE PANDEMIC. Now, you have the audacity to think that you have the ability and wherewithal to defend queer spaces, after you've ceded the ENTIRETY OF SOCIETY to the fucking Nazis to spread plague as they wish.

Revolting and reprehensible.

I’ll also mention that this person tested negative on home antigen tests but got positive on a home molecular test (Lucira) immediately after, and then was confirmed positive.

This is the dozenth or so anecdotal experience I’ve seen indicating antigen tests do not seem to be picking up whatever new strain is circulating, even when people swab their cheeks, throat AND nose for the test.

This is really disconcerting.

If you claim to care for trans folks, but aren’t wearing a mask anymore, you should say what you actually mean: you care about able-bodied trans folks.

A significant amount of trans folks are also disabled. Show you actually care.

@morothar I feel you. I hate how variable the effects of meds are :( doesn't help (my) already variable levels of ability
@inanna_nalytica thank you Sofia 🄰 hope you're doing well.
I've been meaning to reach out and talk science with you
I feel sad, and lost in life
I have an interview on Monday...eeekkkkk

It isn’t ā€œrudeā€ or ā€œaggressiveā€ to advocate loudly and proudly for #ActuallyAutistic people in the face of ableism and anti-autistic hate. If you’re more offended by the ā€œtoneā€ of a disabled & autistic person than by those who erase us, it’s you who have the problem.

If you:
* Feel stressed, anxious, or guilty about Christmas
* Feel obligated to put on a performance when receiving a gift and have had negative experiences when you weren’t excited enough
* Feel overwhelmed by the light/noise/travel/unfamiliar people
* Have had meltdowns as a child on Christmas
* Didn’t buy someone a gift because they said they didn’t want one and then they got upset with you

How’s that adult autism diagnosis going?
