I really like this term "deep doubt" from @benjedwards . It encapsulates well the visceral goal of so mych disinfo and chaff that is put out there.

Reminder, this is how authoritarian regimes maintain control: not just by making you believe lies, but more importantly, by making you doubt the truth.
