and accept the possibility that the authentic America and we Americans when we are authentic may not be as well liked or respected as we are accustomed to. They can’t accept that if some culture is not viable as its authentic self then maybe it’s time to pack it in for something else.

I wish I could find the post where the person passionately told me foreign policy (for the us) was not the place for morals, values and principles. People are suffering because it’s easier to pretend this is all a game & make a whole persona then to face pain & identity crisis from authenticity…
