Late #screenshotsaturday but oh well. Redid the UI, it's now #godot size 60 across the board. Scrollbars work, though I need to bind it to right stick without it touching the camera controls. #gamedev
#screenshotsaturday A new building that took a real long time to do. I don't have the knowledge or skills to properly texture stuff. But here's a cable car hut of some variety.
And my solution to the door problem, the door has no collision.

New water texture who dis. Went pretty simple, just a scrolling noise texture with color, going more for style vibe. Maybe in a week I'll think its too n64 but is fine for now. #gamedev #godot4

#magicthegathering Feeling the #gamedev designer itch to make another cube, despite drafting my other cube exactly once. Need a starting point, suggestions?

Was thinking EOE base with more powerful stuff because I like the sacrifice stuff in rBw but unsure.

Things to do: make the ui for the quests and inventory, clean up some terrain, try and add more floating objects and coins. Make the timer challenge texture. Of which I have basically a day to complete.
Well it's now past 2AM and I've made bugs beyond comprehension but the quest system works, balanced on dictionaries and stale references. #godot4 #gamedev
Couldn't do much today, wrist feeling ow. But got shomy's quest system installed and documentation read. Thanks for having good docs. For some reason I'm rolling my own items and not using pandora, idk why. #gamedev #godot
Ok well that was 4 straight hours of hyperfocus for a just okay output, but we have wind waker style unshaded eyes.
I lined up the uvs at two separate scales because I don't know why. #godot4 #gamedev

I'm a bit worried, I have a week to: fix big island model and uv textures, make a timer challenge sprite, add npc dialog (system already works), redo the inventory ui, add more worldbuilding details that imply war.

I know it is, but the world still feels like a tech demo and not a world, but adding all the things to make it feel more lived in takes work that I can't focus for. Just this island took 2 hours.
