#Writer on the Marches.

The triple hit of pandemic, #BreastCancer and #autism turned me into a bit of a hermit so now I mostly stay at home #writing, looking after my family and my #dog, learning #Cymraeg, contemplating #spirituality, staying #sober and politically de-toxing.

#Welsh help needed please! I have been asked to read out Nant y Mynydd at a family funeral and would be very grateful if a Welsh speaker could possibly post an audio recording of them reciting it for me please. I'm mostly confident in the pronounciation but would really like to hear it spoken by an expert! #Cymraeg

My first attempt at writing #poetry in #Welsh.

I relied heavily on Google Translate for unfamiliar words but felt more confident in my sentence structure. It's very odd not being able to rely on an extensive language knowledge to construct rhythm and rhyme, but I'm glad to have at least tried! Any feedback would be welcome please (NB poem is over video).

This is an ornate spiny lobster (Panulirus ornatus). Apparently this is what it takes to impress the girls in lobster world.... Works for me.

Update on the Valentine's Day Christmas cake: I didn't exactly stick to the recipe, it took 7 hours to cook and is kind of black looking, but my husband very graciously said he loved it 😂
