Ordered the Boss DD-8 and supposed to arrive next Thursday but we're supposed to get a big snowstorm Monday (half a foot from what I've heard) then temperatures stay below freezing all week so my delay pedal is probably going to end up.....delayed. 😒

About to order a Boss DD-8 digital delay and noticed that there's a "carryover" switch on the back...is this the same thing as switches on other delay/reverb pedals where when it's on, the effect tails off even when the pedal is turned off? #guitar #gearsquad
Had my sights set on a JHS FlightDelay pedal but some YouTubing made me realize that same pedal (more or less) can be had from BOSS (the DD-8) for easily under $200. Good to remember more $ doesn't always get you more features or better quality. Nothing against JHS, I love their content but in this case Boss is the better value.

Crows LabyrinthAn ambient album I regularly return to is Mount Carmel by Michael Grigoni. Ambient guitar at its best. Sparse playing, melodic phrasing, the use of loopers, and the use of pedal steel are all just wonderfully mixed together. 🎧
