@gwynnion I forget who made this observation but:

The AIs that just did their jobs fairly competently are female coded (Alexa, Siri) and the response was "Meh. Kinda neat."

The AIs that confidently spout bullshit are generally male coded (e.g. Claude) and the response was "We must give them billions of dollars and put them in charge of everything!"

@StingrayBadger as I have pointed out before: even Thatcher admitted there are some things that shouldn't be privatised.

Yet again, people in the UK have to suffer for years after an strategically important national service was privatised "to save money".

Now we have to wait till our leaders realise there are some services that need to be run by the state, such as postal service to ensure people receive government / NHS letters as a minimum
