My commute has been cycling all my life - currently includes #boston. My real exercise is road biking through sub/exurbs. Interested in ideas for ANYTHING that makes our country less car-centric. #MBTA is failing miserably at that endeavor. #vaccines, #immunology, #bioengineering keep me and my Ph.D.-credentialed mind πŸ˜— engaged. 1619 Project and STEM educ. supporter.

Stressed? Got that Friday the 13th feeling?

Just watch this. It's video Valium.

Colorized footage of Wuppertal Schwebebahn suspension railway, #Germany, 1902.

BREAKING: I am reintroducing the SANTOS Act in the 118th Congress in partnership with Rep. Dan Goldman. The bill punishes candidates who lie to voters about their qualifications.

SANTOS stands for Stop Another Non Truthful Office Seeker.

@tamigraph

I'm really sorry to hear this.

@markjacob

They have already proven how childish they are.

GOP only has to tell their voters that shooting each other will really "own the libs" and they will do it. Same for why they are defunding the IRS - owning the libs is more important than self-preservation to those voters.

I like paying taxes.
I like taxes because I like streetlights and disease prevention and rescuing people from floods.
Grown-ups know taxes are necessary to run a country. MAGA demagogues hope their followers are so childish that they'll buy that "defund the IRS" bullshit.

Donald Trump’s obstruction of Justice is the central fact differentiating his handling of classified material from President #Biden’s.

Biden’s lawyers SELF-REPORTED the classified documents it found in a garage in Delaware to #DOJ the moment it uncovered them.

Reporters will continue reporting straight-faced that the GOP's top concern is "the deficit" even as their openly-stated #1 top policy demand is to add $100B to deficit by cutting IRS enforcement.

Blood rushing to Newbies head - do not let Newbie operate machinery for a while ;)

BTW, thank you for the wonderful history lesson in the NY Times over the weekend.
