Primary teacher ~ Education research ~ Teaching and learning
IntroI'm a Primary school teacher in an international school. Always trying to improve my practice and read research. Responsibility for Science and Technology, with an interest in all teaching and learning.
It’s hard work down at the computer keyboard factory. They’ve got me putting in a lot of shifts.
#EduToot #EduTooter Does anybody know some research I can use as a starting point into how to effectively feedback on lesson observations?
Eg. I seem to recall 'grading' lessons is outdated and not a done thing to do, where has this come from?

Strictly Come Dancing: week nine results – as it happened

For the first time since 2019, the dancers were back in Blackpool. But which couple put in a towering performance, and who finished tonight at the end of the pier?

This is an example of what I provide to Faculty at the beginning of the school year - this one is outdated but you get the idea.
This gets updated each year based on our subscriptions & resources.

#EduGlow #EduToot #EduTooter a colleague came into my class to let me know the feedback I gave on Science planning was specific and useful. She didn't have to go out of her way to say that, but it was appreciated.

mind blown by a YouTube comment of all things

Here's what I'm wondering about today, #EduTooter nation: If there was one thing you could go back and tell your "new teacher self" three months into your teaching career, what would it be?

Because we have a ton of colleagues who are in that spot right now!

Let's share some words of wisdom with them.

@stefanhansen How to solve problems, perhaps a la George Polya/Socratic method. How to take notes and process them in a way that leads to long-term information retention and transfer to real life. #PBL #Polya #Education #EduTooter @edutooters
