Sometimes you just have to shine bright like a diamond!

I finally got around to take a decent picture with my new diamond jewellery I suddenly got the urge to own a week ago.

It's been a busy weekend, with "kreative dage" friday, which is a big convention of everything handmade, that I go to every year.

Birthday party Saturday.

And today was spend cleaning up after the party, and assembling my new #prusamini+ #3dprinter

So the fabrication of #flossdrops has started!
I plan to migrate my full collection of DMC to flossdrops as I realised, that I hate bobbins, and as I couldn't find any in Danish shops I decided to get a printer and make my own.
(And luckily my parents and boyfriend supported that decision)

I finished my Halloween costume! I'm dressing as Claire from Outlander. I made everything, including the underwear (a shift, corset, and bum roll), except for the bag and shoes. The last picture I'm calling "I like big butts and I cannot lie". In addition, the skirt has a 19th century modification for cycling: there's a series of hidden cords and weights that lets me pull it up and out of the way in a pretty rouched way to safely ride a bike (not pictured).

This week I got some stitches in on my #thestitchersbookclub #SAL from #cloudsfactory I'm still way behind, but I might actually find time to catch up before the year is over.

And I finished all the little girl bunnies on #thebunnybunch pattern from #ElisabethHartmann . So know i only got the boy bodies left, and then assembling the whole quilt. Hopefully I'll also get that finished this year, as it will only take 2 or 3 good sewing sessions.

My name is Rikke (she/her), I'm from Denmark and I'm quite new to Mastodon, but have been on Lemmy most of the year. I live with my wonderful boyfriend and one of the most well behaved cats I've ever meet

I love sharing my crafts and looking at other peoples. I mostly do #crossstitch and I'm so behind on #thestitchersbookclub stitch along from cloudsfactory but I also joined 5 months late and am mostly working on an other nonshareable project.

The project I'm probably most proud of is my version of the #ElisabethHartmann dinosaur pattern, which i made a few years ago.

I also dable a little in crochet and am in the process of learning to knit.
