The cloth is the large piece of Aida that I dyed with black tea earlier in the week. It's for a sampler that's in the mail to me.
The cross stitch is The Tavern at the Edge of the Woods from QuaternionCreations on Etsy. It's about 60% complete.
I'm happy that people like to stitch complicated full-coverage stuff if it makes them happy. Me, I'm content with smaller, more monochrome pieces or samplers.

Bee 🐝🧶This #WIPWednesday I have started a new embroidery project which happens to be my first ever “thread painting” project! I have been wanting to try thread painting for so long and having some spare cotton left from a sewing project, I decided it is time! The design is just a simple rose I drew by hand and my aim is to shade it as realistically as possible. I am very happy to be expanding my embroidery skills!
