Why does #mastodon refuse to send me a link to change my password? I'd love to use this website more but this is my 3rd account and they ALL have non-working passwords that can't be changed. Can someone please explain why this website is so buggy with so many password and security issues?

#Help #tech I'd really like to use this website more but I keep having password issues. They refuse to send me an email to change my password. #mastodon has done this with TWO of my accounts and basically locks me out and the only way to get back in is through an email link. Can anyone help me with this? Is there a help email for this site? Why is it SO buggy with so many BASIC security issues, like password issues? That seems very shoddy to me...No offense to the site...
@CoolFrog I'm still on twitter, it's just hard to maintain two social media accounts. I don't really do duplicate posts to both sites because the vibe is different. Twitter has become an angry place, so my posts there are often angry. Mastodon is a lot more chill, so my posts here are much happier and more mellow.

Right now, the rate limiting message has gone, only to be replaced by one telling us we're bots so we can't tweet, 'like' or reply. We can retweet, which is odd.
Obviously no one affected can tweet about this! Some people are getting round it by using their alt accounts. Which confirms our main ones are locked.
