@adhd_coffee my kids have been diagnosed and are convinced I am just undiagnosed with ADHD and I will have to say it depends. My kids seem absolutely normal to me, and NO I don't think normal average humans are evolved for modern life. Like I just consider myself on the normal spectrum and on the side towards disorganized and creative not organized and efficient. But I have met ADHD kids who were disabled and hyperactive, and that looks so uncomfortable.
@futurebird small. Big would be shot dead so fast, small I could hide and not be killed. Though the thought of encountering bugs while small is absolutely terrifying, I would need some help.
@Gargron scents don't really have genders. Just get what suits you, it will smell like you if that's what you wear. I will here put in a plug for Neil Morris Perfumes, indie perfumer so good and most don't have any man or woman labeling.
@lordmatt Huh. Is there anyone who doesn't fit at least one of these though? Or is it an all-9 requirement? I have good emotional regulation now because I'm older, but will never be organized, and time is legit a mystery. But I think time IS a mystery. My kids have ADD and to me seem perfectly normal (still, let them get drugs to get more comfortably through school even though I think school is the problem not kids, I can't fix school)
@catsalad this happened to me when I had my second, asked the midwife if it was a girl and received a snippy response of "it's a baby, STOP BLEEDING!" Because I was again hemorrhaging right after the delivery.
@Yehuda I use captions on video because it's easier to read than listen (and often less annoying to turn off the sound) and transcripts very often (the eyes are faster than the mouth). Alt text description of images never.

@danielthedaring Raccoon Moth!
@MissConstrue @amydiehl unrelated, but one of the most awesome things I have seen in my life - I was at the park, and this little, maybe 7 year old girl drove up in her barbie Corvette, and casually but perfectly parallel parked it alongside the playground - like, pulled past the "parking space", threw it in reverse with her arm on the top of the seat next to her, and backed it in while turning it into the exact spot she wanted, perfectly parallel to the 'curb' of the park, a wooden plank.
@rjohnston @Migueldeicaza oh my God my mind is in the gutter, lol.
