The teen has put fake blood on their face for a TikTok halloween video.
It has stained their skin and they are bright pink.
I am trying so hard not to laugh at them while they scrub their face in vain 😆
I see people complain about London public transport and I want to say that after spending a few days there, I'm not sure that they appreciate just how good that system is compared to what we have up North.
The fact everything is so integrated, that it tracks your journey and caps your fares, that it includes all public transport, it's honestly brilliant.
If we had a system like that up here I'd happily use it instead of my car.
I officially love London.
Spent two nights there and what an incredible place.
History round every corner, amazing food, so easy to get around.

After everyone here was so incredibly helpful with advice about my teen learning to play #violin I thought it was only fair to give an update.
We loaned a guitar from a friend and the teacher has said it's great to get started with.
They're absolutely loving it and the teacher is very impressed with how quick they're picking it up.
I'm still amazed by how helpful everyone was, thank you for all of the advice and tips. You're the best.
@justafrog @sentient_water @breadandcircuses I know there are probably die-hard vegans who will probably come for me for saying this, but THIS is what we need. Yes, okay, long-term it would be great if everyone stopped eating animals but the all-or-nothing approach I think puts a lot of people off.
If it was less about being pure, and more about people just trying their best, I think it would actually make a much bigger impact.

The world feels bloody awful right now.
I have nothing useful to add to the discourse, all I can do is bear witness to the atrocities taking place.
It doesn't feel like enough but then I remind myself that the people suffering are sharing their stories for a reason and hearing their story matters. Amplifying their voices matters.
We can't turn away. We need to pay attention now more than ever.
I don't need to leave the house tomorrow. At all.
I plan to stay in my PJs, drink coffee, order cake to the house, play a bit of guitar and then read a book.
