It’s a #mossy kind of mood around here. Grateful to not be freezing with most of the country. imagining all the time theses trees have lived locked together, root and trunk. thinking of my family spread across this great continent. feeling more than thinking. and mossy sister tree trunks convey it best.

#thicktrunktuesday Thick trunks are easy to find around the Rogue Valley. i stopped in the neighborhood to pick up a pallet and here was this magnificent thick trunk tree. imagine how long it has grown.

once she walked her grandson. now he walks her to her new home in assisted living. at 98 she begins another journey. this ordinary picture strikes such emotion in my being.
