I'm sure she had hoped they would have dozed off, but they seemed far too interested in anything that moved beside them.
She returned shortly after, with a meal for one of them, before going hunting for the other hungry mouth.

@simon the reasoning behind that is if everyone is just an account to promote their book, the social media platform will not be engaging because who wants to just look at catalogs a book advertisements, they could go onto Kindle or any place like that to find new books that they might wanna read.
@mcc I wasn’t sure if Linke tree was illegal so I removed it anyway. When I was thinking about it, it didn’t really matter that much to me because people could also search for my social media said they wanted to follow online. .
Ryan Schultz#JohnMastodon is proof that things *CAN* go viral here on Mastodon, but the key is that *YOU* are the algorithm. The reason that the John Mastodon meme showed up on other people's timelines is because so many users boosted the posts.
The lesson here is: please don't just favourite something if you really enjoyed it; BOOST it so that other people can enjoy it, too! This is the only reason why I bother to create as large a social graph as I can on Mastodon—to act as an amplifier. You can, too!❤️😉

I have never once violated Twitters rules or terms of service. I’ve never had a single tweet flagged, my account was permanently banned with no warning and with no reason, after I reached out to Musk for comment.

@KraftTea I think it a bad idea to do it because I often block heavy users so they don't appear in my timeline so I can save time and focus on the accounts I care about. I don't want them to be demoted because I block them. Only very rarely do I have to block someone because they were mean because most people on Twitter are polite.
