There had been sightings of strange lights in the sky along the backroads of the Darling Downs, going back over a century. Theories ranged from micrometeoroids to radon gas escaping from coal seams, and—of course—aliens.

Following the story all the way to the bottom of the rabbit hole got me the mundane truth. It was totally aliens.

When your starhopper drive is glitching out, and the manufacturer won’t sell you the needed part (“we only sell complete drivetrains; no user serviceable parts inside”) the solution is, as ever, “consult a farm mechanic”. My investigation revealed that an underground economy of weather-control for ship repairs has been sustaining farming on the downs for generations. Come in on the dark hemisphere, avoid cities, find a ute on a dark road, follow it home, ask for help. Pay in kind by seeding some clouds or deflecting a cyclone on the way out of the atmosphere.

I won’t be publishing this story; having a virtuosa mechanic who owes me a favour on tap is far more valuable to me than the commission on one article.

If anyone is supporting the immigration concentration camps, you should ask them if they are fine with everyone in the camps dying.

When you put tens of thousands of people in cages in camps run by for-profit contractors with no oversight, very bad things happen. Those tents in Florida? Fire traps that double as tropical disease breeding grounds.

Here are the female members of parliament dressed in the sashes of the Suffragettes. Four people were killed by the campaigns of the Suffragettes, and 24 others were injured. The contemporary press called them "Terrorists"

Shortly after this photograph was taken, these ladies took off their sashes and all apart from a few voted in the HofC for #PalestineAction to be a proscribed terrorist organisation.

New instance, new #introduction post!

The time has come for me to move on to this instance much more in line with my interests.
Gone are the many messages that I posted over the last couple of years, but I'm happy to have found a new, more like-minded community to compensate for this migration side effect.
