I'll get around to this later. I should probably claim @pisseartiste too.
@SaruNinjaDesu Yeah, one thing BlueSky doesn't seem to have is hashtags, I have to kind of figure out where to get everything. I like having the ability to easily access news, but part of what was cool about Twitter is I kept running into people who were experts on stuff I knew nothing about but was curious about, or just didn't know I should be interested in. Made me better informed, but also a better person largely, most of the time.
I got me BlueSky, Counter.Social, and Mastadon, and watching the Bird app crumble ... I guess I'll keep an eye on all of them and go from there. Mastodon does seem like it has more of a learning curve maybe though.

I've now been waiting for five days for my suitcase thanks to Air Canada. According to the tracking website there's been no update at all since December 24 when it says it was supposed to be forwarded to Newark on December 25.

I almost wonder if it's worth it to go there and try to get it but I don't know if that's possible or remotely worth the cost of the trip which is $30 return plus the subway.

Love to trust my private Starlink communications with the guy who sucks up to Putin's chief goof.

@abradacabla I sometimes think Ben Shapiro is a really weird niche comedy act, and not a guy who just feels compelled to humiliate himself regularly.
Dinner was a success. I married well.
@msbellows absolutely timeless gem of a meme
@snarkysteff Yeah. I don't tolerate it well and don't miss it most of the time.

@snarkysteff I've mostly traded alcohol for cannabis and the odd craft beer. But I still love champagne, and we went to a Michelin star place for a tasting menu the other night and the sommelier did not disappoint with wine suggestions all around.

I just like stopping before I wind up being in a state I'll regret the next day. It isn't remotely worth it. Never really has been.
