We now know what conservatives mean when they say "woke."

In the name of "Fighting wokeness," conservatives banned thousands of books all over the country, including a Pulitzer-winning book famous for criticizing the Nazi holocaust.

So we know that to conservatives, "woke" means "not a Nazi."

And now you know why it makes them so angry.

@Bulwark but in practice, that just isn't true. Sadly. It's practically impossible to have a nuanced fact driven conversation with people under thirty on the left or the right. It's become fanatical.
