Exempt Linux and BSDs from age verification laws

Change.org
@grahamperrin I agree with @maat and @david_chisnall about this not being enough. Still, I signed because anything to reduce these laws is better than nothing. It also already has more support than mine. I'm not very social... haha. I will include this petition with mine if I get enough signatures to eventually send it to officials. Please also sign/boost/share/etc mine if you are able: https://c.org/SK8BdZwjVv

@gbryant I have created a petition. Not sure how effective it will be and I've never done anything like this before but felt I needed to do something. Please sign, share, tag, etc: https://c.org/Cg6LRGbHBS

Can you spare a minute to help this campaign?

Attention to those opposed to operating system age verification laws!

I have created a petition for those who are against California AB1043 (or other bills like it) to sign. I am a California citizen so I made it aimed at AB1043 but did mention other similar bills/laws. Hopefully it will gain lots of signatures and I can send it to the CA Assembly, Governor and the U.S. Supreme Court. Please sign, share, tag, etc. https://c.org/LdYsjKGy4G

@gbryant great video. A lot of good points. To me it seems that if they are really interested in protecting children they should be focusing on the entities that are actually creating the things they want to protect them from (ie: adult websites, information brokers, etc.). This seems like such a "throwing the baby out with the bathwater" move to me. Mandating by law to collect information from computer users. Insane.
Turns out I actually really like the Yamaha DM7. Who woulda thought!
