ICYMI & you're looking for a different 'solution' to the social housing crisis....

here's my outline proposal for an NS&I run National Social Housing Bond (which could be run through a state-run Social Real Estate Investment Trust, if that was preferred).... we should get out savings working to deal with one of out major problems.

In tomorrow's budget, Rachel Reeves will offer £500m to Angela Rayner to help resolve the social housing crisis; this hardly seems adequate.

However, we also know that many people have large savings that they are reticent to invest via other financial instruments (not least of all due to suspicion of the spivs in financial services).

So, why not bring these issues together?

My suggestion: the NS&I should launch a National Social Housing Bond!

Anyone who opposed Biden the last few weeks was perhaps trying to save the party.

Anyone who opposes Harris now is likely trying to sabotage it.

I believe as of this morning, 36 House/Senate Democrats had called on #Biden to resign. MSM spent 3 weeks obsessively portraying Biden's "defiance" of the party.

I wonder if the MSM will take 36 House/Senate endorsements of #Harris as a threshold to obsessively pressure the party and delegates nominate Harris else label it defiance?
