@Tutanota Can you make your blog posts accessible to text-only readers?
I prefer to read articles via Emacs but it can't load your posts.

I don't like Twitter, but I'm giving Mastodon a try to support FOSS

I feel like all my toots are asking questions on how to use #Mastodon.
For today's issue, does anyone know how to load a specific user's profile in the #Emacs Mastodon client? I can find their profile using 'S' but when I press 'P' on the name, handle or description I get a message that "Mastodon-tl-buffer-spec is not defined for buffer *mastodon-search-XXXXXXX*"
I attached a screenshot of trying to find myself.
On second thought, I'll do this publicly. It may be useful for others.
I'm testing the did not caption bot by intentionally not including alt-text on an image. Once it notifies me I'll add the alt-text.
Edit: three seconds after I tooted, @PleaseCaption commented to let me know that I had an embedded image without alt-text.
I enabled it by following the account. I recommend others do as well as a nice gesture.
@omnipotens @G_Dog1985 my home feed has an odd delay. Toots from other instances seem to show up almost a day late, but they're ordered according to when I receive them. Toots from people on linuxrocks show up promptly.
In the attached image a toot from Mastodon.social from 23 hours ago appears above a toot from linuxrocks.online from 10 minutes ago.
I'm using Tusky and don't know where the issue lies.
@malin @Linux_in_a_Bit is anyone else experiencing this?
I'm running #EndeavourOS on my #RaspberryPi4 and playing videos is extremely choppy (just the video - the audio is OK).
I've tried #VLC and #Parole with the same results.
My test video is 1080p located on a USB key.
Anyone know how to fix this?
