So that bunch of yarn I got together a while ago became a vest. I’m really quite pleased with it. The pattern is my own and includes vertical bust darts. It’s knit in half-linen stitch with two strands held together. Includes quite a bit of handspun yarn as well.
I finally got around to blocking that skirt. I’m pleased with the solution I came up with thanks to help from friends. Looking forward to finally wearing it once dry.

This lot is thicker than I usually spin. I might combine them to make a vest or something.

I did a workshop on spinning flax today. It was my first time trying this and I had a lot of fun (and some frustration). Using a distaff was pretty cool!
It’s a lovely day today and I’m wearing Malabrigo on the school run (walk). I’m loving that it’s cool enough here to wear knits almost all the time. 😃
