I'm not. 😭

There are various reasons other do. So many live paycheck to paycheck & have small kids who need somewhere to go so they can keep providing food + shelter. The ones I'm pissed off with, are those who can stay home like me. I tried to get local moms I know to resist this & despite not wanting to get covid, they wouldn't do it. 😩

I don't know if anyone else gets anxious about phone calls but a little tip I've learned is: if there is a phone call that I don't want to make, before I start dialing the number, I carefully hold the phone in my hand & toss it gently into a lake. I hope this advice helps others.

Suffering is real, but framing becoming disabled as "end of our life and joy" or "lower life quality" or "fear of becoming surplus" or "not productive so unworthy of care" is eugenics. This is a systemic problem baked into our capitalist imperialist white supremacist patriarchy.

Disabled people are amazing, full of talents, deserving of care. We have value and worth. We matter too! #CommunityCare

Thank you! I'm not sure why some feel compelled to pathologize or criticize things like this. It's just people talking in a less conventional way. We can instantly connect to people all over the world. It's a good thing imo.

Twitter, for many people, is not an addiction per se, any more than your desire to wake up, go out into your community, and see friendly faces who support you in a difficult world is an addiction. I understand why some people stay, move slowly, or keep a presence in both worlds. It’s not a character defect. 2/2
