Architect, atheist, Democrat and believer in democracy, and strong believer in WELL REGULATED Capitalism and effective government

I’m Democrat Zach Dembo
– Navy JAG veteran, former DOJ prosecutor,
and I just launched my campaign to flip Kentucky’s 6th Congressional District
and give the people of Central Kentucky a voice in Congress again.

You don’t know me yet, so here’s the short version:

I served in uniform.
I fought corruption at the Department of Justice.
And I worked as a policy advisor to Governor Andy Beshear
– helping deliver real wins for working families here in Kentucky.

𝗠𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗹𝘆, 𝗜 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻𝗲𝗱 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗗𝗢𝗝 𝗯𝗲𝗰𝗮𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝗜 𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱𝗻’𝘁 𝗸𝗲𝗲𝗽 𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗔𝗱𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝘆 𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗜 𝗯𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗲𝘃𝗲.

To use a Navy term
– we’re in uncharted waters.

Our Constitution is under attack.

Costs are too damn high.
And Congress just voted to kick over 200,000 Kentuckians off Medicaid
– all while giving billionaires yet another tax break.

I’m running to flip this seat and fight like hell for the Kentuckians they keep leaving behind,
but I need your support.

Will you chip in $5, $35, $50, or whatever you can afford today to help me launch this grassroots campaign strong?

Thank you,

Zach

Democrats: don’t tell me you just want my opinion, that you’re not asking for money, and then present me with a donation form.

Thanks for attending my TED talk.

Paramount settles with Trump, and then cancels the Late Show.
If it walks like fascism, and talks like fascism, and shuts-up-opposing voices like facism…

What an incredibly dark time in America.

Stephen Colbert says The Late Show will end after 33 years

Network CBS called it a financial decision tied to the "challenging backdrop in late night" TV.

Washington Post national columnist Philip Bump's last column for the newspaper is online with the NYC-based writer announcing he "was offered and accepted a buyout." https://www.washingtonpost.com/opinions/2025/07/17/trust-institutions-authoritarianism-trump/
When institutions crumble, strongmen step in

Trump wants to be the sole authority. With trust in institutions cratering, he sees his opportunity.

The Washington Post

In the Trump dictatorship public school teachers are paid USD 55,000 a year, while ICE agents are paid USD 100,000.

In Denmark, a public school teacher earns USD 90,000, while the police cadets stopping migrants at the border are paid 51,000.

Priorities ladies and gentlemen.

The #IRS is building a #ComputerProgram that would give #deportation officers unprecedented access to confidential #tax #data.

ProPublica has obtained a blueprint of the system, which would create an “on demand” process allowing #ICE to obtain the home addresses of people it’s seeking to deport.

Last month, in a previously undisclosed dispute, the acting general counsel at the IRS, Andrew De Mello, refused to turn over the addresses of 7.3M #taxpayers sought by ICE.
