What's happening to kids right now in the US is a catastrophe. And the response from our leaders, well, doesn't seem to be rising the challenge.
“I can still pass out blankets and give popsicles to kids” in the ER, one hospital COO, a board certified urologist, told Fortune. “It allows nurses to do what they need to be able to do—nursing.”

🚨 Rational gun laws save lives. New study shows laws in a state likely prevent deaths in neighboring states. Reasonable licensing laws had a strong potential protective effect.
Guns are the top cause of death in US kids. We need rational gun laws. This study shows we're all in this together.
