I'm SUPER excited that I can share this now! I've been sitting on this commission for a minute because it was a holiday gift. But now that it's been received I can share.

This is possibly the most ambitious drawing I've ever done. I'm extremely proud of this. It's massive. It's finely detailed. It was definitely out of my comfort zone. But I'm so pleased with how it came out. And the clients are happy too, which is always a plus!

Not sure how I feel about these. They're ok, but I'm not quite pleased. The colored on is too transparent and the sepia one loses some of the detail. I am quite pleased with the ghost print actually, but I definitely need some more opaque oil paints.

Trashmanda make up and frizzy hair last night gave me some ideas for a self portrait or two (or more).

I'm very uncomfortable with pictures of myself, but I do think these pieces are going to be fun and I enjoyed tinkering with editing these two, so in the interest of pushing personal boundaries, I'm sharing a couple of my reference photos.
