Henning DüsseldorfLove the pre-event setup and arriving early at #parkrun - feels like the park is all mine. So peaceful! Great turnout today at #volksgartenparkrun in #düsseldorf with 130 finishers and 22 amazing volunteers. Perfect weather for a run!

BenGood morning, chums. Having got up with the sun whatever ludicrous time that was and then sorting out the house and kids, I ran to #ParkRun (about 3.5k) where we had a club takeover event, with banners and flags and cakes and a marquee and IT WAS DELIGHTFUL. Had about 850 runners and I was marshalling with a sweet kid who's doing his Duke of Edinburgh. Had a blast as per. Lovely crowd. What a lovely way to start a weekend. I then ran home again and am now HOT. Here is a picture of my goddamn face. No one likes their own pictures but I'm trying to be better at being accepting of myself, but I put a filter on it just to make it marginally more interesting. Huzzah! Have a good weekend or else.
fakA #parkrunSandwich to round off the week. I wouldn't normally do back-to-back hard days, and 23 miles in about the same number of hours counts as hard to me, but it's the #GreatBristolRun tomorrow and I want to support friends. Ran to Ashton Court, took the #parkrun steady on the up then got a little carried away on the way down, finishing with a 23:33, then ran home. 12 miles total #running #RunnersOfMastodon
WaiderAnother gorgeous day for a #poolbegparkrun. I was scanning again, and for one reason or another wound up scanning the first thirty or so of our 265 finishers before the relief party arrived to help out! Big shout-out to Clara who was looking up barcodes and _live registering_ newcomers! #parkrun

Michelle / The Giddy StitcherA much greyer and wetter view from Cotsford Fields today than last time, but we went up to support my mam doing her first ever #parkrun as the tail walker!
They made a big fuss over it being her first and she was mortified about being centre of attention, but there were only about forty people there so she'll get over it 😂
Kath came with me and finished as First Dog (although she was also Only Dog, but the volunteer crew cheered her on anyway).
A solid, if rather moist, family morning out 👍

richardbadgeManaged to get out for my 7th #parkrun ever (6th at Watermead Country Park) on a beautiful sunny morning. Can't pretend it is getting a lot easier, but so nice to get out, and then spend the rest of the day in a sunny garden!
