I'm doing an intro to JavaScript course. Been dabbing into coding on and off for the last six years, mainly Python for NLP.

But I find that if you don't code on a daily basis, it doesn't stick that well. This time it's different though, work requires some JS. Quite excited about that!

A week on Mastodon, and I'm SO digging the retro vibe here! Not having an algorithm that dominates my timeline, great conversations so far...I know that people complain about Mastodon's UX, and I get it. But really, is there that much wrong with figuring out how something works? Not that long ago, that was the default mode for operating technology, and I dare to say it made us more tech savvy, more in control and more autonomous.
