Been away for a long time and slowly starting to catch up here again, and with the newer socials. Has anyone a #bluesky invite code for me, since it seems large communities of people with #LongCovid #MEcfs and the like, are there now?

If you download your #Twitter archive it arrives wrapped as a static HTML page, which is not very useful for doing anything with, and worse: it requires the original account to be still active to do useful things like enlarge the images since they use t.co links.
So here's a #Python script to convert a Twitter archive to #markdown or other formats: https://github.com/timhutton/twitter-archive-parser
Now you can archive your tweets in any way you want.

The latest Mastodon update lets you follow hashtags. When you follow, posts with a tag appear in your timeline automatically.
Try following #Gardening to make posts about gardening appear in your timeline.
This can be REALLY useful for discovering interesting accounts.
To follow a hashtag:
1. Log in through your server's website
2. Search for hashtag
3. Click it to see its results
4. Click on 👤+ icon in top right (click again to unfollow)
Posts from followed tags are visible in the apps too.

Tof, lekker verdwalen in een eindeloze community.
Ik vind het hier nu al gezelliger dan op Twitter, goede vibe. Eigenlijk geen idee waarom met nog maar een handvol connecties, of misschien juist daarom.
Alleen nu nog een modus vinden om sommige inhoud bij belanghebbenden en besluitvormers te krijgen. Iemand een idee hoe we die kunnen bereiken? Tijdelijk alles kopiëren op Twitter? Ik zal daar zeker nog een tijd blijven, maar vind dubbel posten een ding.
Tekst in 1 tweet laten passen vind ik trouwens ook een sport, hier babbel ik nu al teveel 😅
