Have you seen the fantastic, relatively new "advice column" in the Guardian, written by Sisonke Msimang? (The column it called "Ms Understanding").

One of our local Ventura County, CA events (on the lower CA Central Coast) was at the Camarillo Grove Park Nature Center. So beautiful today with wildflowers draping the slopes of the local foothills. Here are a couple of pics.
We hit the tail-end of this event. The wildflowers were behind us on entry road to the park, unaccessible to stop for pics while driving. Oak trees everywhere.
Hackers Are Stealing Cars by Injecting Code Into Headlight Wiring
Tech savvy thieves have resorted to using specially crafted devices that simply plug into the wiring harness behind the headlight of a victim's car.
Once they're plugged in, they're able to unlock, start, and drive away before the owner even catches wind of what's going on.
