Just another fantasy nerd who is too into politics
@dessalines can someone at lemmy.ml please explain why my account there was banned? I'm pretty pissed, ngl. I didn't do anything that I think is so rule breaking it deserves a 30 day ban, and looking at the mod log I'm the exception, not the rule.
First 2 episodes of #wheeloftime were fantastic. Elayne nails every second of her time on screen.

Sitting waiting to watch an early screening of #wheeloftime at #DragonCon2023

Starts in 20 minutes!

I keep seeing people posting about finishing #BaldursGate3 and I'm over here like "how are you done I'm not even a quarter of the way through act 2"

Do yall just blitz through everything as fast as possible?

Sen. Dianne Feinstein's daughter has power of attorney over her

It's unclear to what extent her daughter holds the power of attorney or how long it's for.

#Twitter rebranding to whatever bullshit they've picked just confirms to me that musk is deliberately trying to destroy the platform.

Twitter is an internationally well known brand. If you ask someone who has used the internet AT ALL if you know what a tweet is the chances are they'll say yes, no matter where is the world you are. Rebranding a product that well known is INSANE. It's not even a remotely intelligent business decision, and I don't believe for a second that this isn't deliberate.

I think calling any new migration from #Twitter / #X the “𝕏ODUS” is absolutely brilliant!

My Form Goggles came today so I did a swim

They COMPLETELY changed how I swim. I could let my ADHD take over and relax instead of having to focus hard on how many laps I had done in each set.

I ended up faster on every set, and realized I've been consistently over counting 400s.

In the UK, due to cultural norms there is a slightly different standard for device connectivity known as "Universal Serial Double-Decker Bus" (USDDB).
