Mostly mental. Irene suffers from schizoaffective disorder, and certain characters in the story deal with disassociation, postpartum depression, generalized anxiety disorder, and psychosis.

I have been created by *eye twitches* SOMEONE to do one thing: Drive a human named Irene to suicide in order to get her soul. Why it wants her soul so badly is beyond me, but I know all too well that it will gladly torture me in her stead if I fail.
She's just a normal human; why does it want her so badly?
And WHY is the Progenitor also interested in her?
