Please enjoy this delightful party dinosaur from my friend’s house 😁🦖 #Dinosaur
Please enjoy this Belgian car number plate I spotted today in Newcastle; a very niche reference to a TV advert for Mazda in the early 2000s. I’m sure there are a few people, me included, who didn’t realise this combo would be possible in Belgian plates. Must be worth a fortune amongst Mazda fans?

Had a lovely trip out today to Dunstanburgh Castle. Northumberland coastline as stunning as ever, and it was a beautifully sunny day. Got to watch cliff-nesting kittiwakes and swallows diving through the sky, waves crashing on the rocks, and giant bumblebees.
Bought some cute socks with sheep on at the English Heritage gift shop 🐑

Late to the party but I’ve just seen this response from Simon Helberg (Wolowitz from Big Bang Theory) after the Artemis II toilet issues. Love it.

On Holy Island yesterday (28th April) I noticed a few unusual looking insects with long legs. It looks like they were St Mark’s Flies, which emerge around 25th April every year. Amazing timekeeping! https://www.woodlandtrust.org.uk/trees-woods-and-wildlife/animals/flies/st-mark-s-fly/
This photo I took of two pied wagtails sitting on a wall even picks up one of those flies in the background (above the bird on the right).

Today we’re visiting Lindisfarne, otherwise known as Holy Island, and won’t be able to leave until dinner time. It’s a tidal causeway and the times change rapidly, so if you ever visit be sure to check tide times first!
I’ve been a couple of times but not for many years.

Got a week off so we headed up to National Trust treasure Cragside today. Glorious weather! Beautiful trees, and the rhododendrons are about to pop out soon so we’ll be back. Always a great place for a walk. Spent 5 mins stood waiting in silence for a little thrush gathering worms so I didn’t disturb her. Perfect ❤️

Thankfully the shower has now passed! It’s -1C now but lovely. #UKweather

Catching up with friends today, one suggested we should visit Warkworth Castle (which is beautiful, but mostly outdoors). My other half said we could have a picnic, with it being Easter Sunday and cafés probably being closed.

This is the weather 😂

For some reason I’m getting adverts for Christian Louboutin shoes on Pinterest. I do NOT know how they named these shoes with a straight face. Come on.
